SCHOOL UNIFORM

Our uniform reflects the sense both of community and of diversity that the school takes pride in and, although we want children to feel relaxed and comfortable as they learn, we also want to enable children to identify with, and have pride in their school.
School uniform is important in helping achieve this. Uniform items that are emblazoned with our school logo are available to purchase please ask at the reception for an order form. Children in the nursery should be sensibly dressed in easy to manage clothes. Uniform is compulsory for all children from Reception to Year 6.
You can purchase our uniform items from Logo to Go which is based within Charles Dickens hardware store in Hartlepool.

SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
To help raise standards, and in collaboration with our behaviour policy, we will be applying the uniform policy more rigorously. We will also be seeking to reward classes and individual pupils who regularly display excellent standards of uniform.
We have not amended the uniform requirements but we will be expecting children to have shirts and polo shirts tucked in. Where there are extenuating circumstances that prevent your child from wearing the correct uniform, please ensure that you contact school (phone/email/hand written note) in order to inform the class teacher. Sanctions will be in place for KS2 pupils (Y3 –Y6) who fail to meet the required standards of uniform. This is in line with DfE guidance, 2021, which states “Teachers can discipline pupils for breaching the school’s rules on appearance or uniform”.
Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Harrison or Mr Dickinson with any queries
