My Money Week
Over the week of the 3rd of July children looked at money in society and the around the world. They thought about needs and wants of people in different societies globally. They investigated what the essential needs of humans to live their lives in comfort were and how in some societies these needs were not always met.
The end point of all this work during the week was an entrepreneurial competition were children had to manufacture their own product for sale at the summer fayre, working all of the costs and profits out. These profits were divided equally between the PACT group and the class themselves to spend on a treat of their choice.
The class with highest profit after all of this hard work was Year 3 and Miss Foster, so a massive well done to them for being our first My Money Week winners.
