Hinduism and Sikhism Workshop
Pupils enjoyed a visit from BHS (Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism) Educational Workshops.
The workshop introduced pupils to Hinduism and Sikhism through a variety of presentations and activities. The group played learning games and performed short skits that taught them particular lessons from the religions and cultures.
They brought a complete array of costumes for the children to wear; including masks, turbans, crowns, wigs, beards, moustaches, tails and imitation weapons. As you can imagine, the children and staff thoroughly enjoyed getting dressed up.
When the children finished dressing up, they watched a traditional dance.
