SCHOOL COUNCIL
We have two members from each class from Reception to Year 6. The School Council meet every Wednesday lunchtime. This year the School Council are working on achieving the Silver Flag award (Eco-Schools). They have created an action plan and shared this with the rest of the school during Key Stage assembly.
Each half term they will focus on one or two areas from the nine key topics of Eco-Schools. Alongside working towards Eco-Schools award the School Council will also carry out other projects and organise activities/events based on suggestions and ideas that have come from children in their class.
We help to organise events and carry out projects that will be beneficial to our community
We encourage suggestions from all pupils to involve everyone in our discussions. We will keep you updated with our progress during assemblies and information on our school council board in school.
Through team effort we hope to make Eskdale Academy a better place for everyone to enjoy and be proud about the special things in our school.
