The team are responsible for raising attendance and punctuality.

They work alongside families giving support, when required, to a varying degree.

Check registers daily and record absence.
First response-telephone call/home visit if no reason for absence given.
Monitor pupils with absence below 85% and implement six week plans with parents to raise attendance and punctuality.
Liaise with School Attendance Officer every half term.
Reward charts/Beat the Bell charts to raise punctuality.
Certificates for 100% attendance every half term.
Certificates given to classes with best attendance each term.
Liaise with numerous outside agencies e.g. CAMHS, CAFCASS, FSS, School Nurse and Children’s Fund etc.
Deal with mid term transfers, collating paperwork and information sharing between schools.
Co-Facilitate Nurturing Programme for 6 parents.
Assist with behavioural issues.
Liaise with Lunchtime Supervisors – activities, behaviour management etc.

We meet and greet every morning and I’m the first port of call for parents to offer advice and support with any problems they may be facing.
