Welcome to our school attendance page. Attendance at Eskdale Academy is so, so important.

Good School attendance matters for children's learning, personal development and social/emotional health. Research shows pupils with good attendance go on to get better jobs in the future, achieve better results, make good friendships and have higher self-esteem and confidence.

As a School, we want to do everything possible to get every child into school each and every day and support parents/carers every step of the way in doing this.

On this page I hope you will find all information and support required to assist your understanding of and help with decision making in respect of your child's absences from school, should they occur.  We will provide detail of what support school can offer to you as parents and what happens when absences occur.

Miss Musgrave is available at school at any point to answer any queries about attendance of offer support if necessary.
